MCFRP Rebranding Considered
The Grand Proposal
Summary
The idea of rebranding CSR to MCFRP was first proposed by KyleTValentino (Kyle) at some point before February 14, 2024. We're unable to find messages pertaining to the original proposal, however we were able to find a poll sent by Dylan on February 14, 2024 asking how many community members played Maple County.
On February 18, 2024, at 1:30 PM EST, Dylan called a staff meeting to order to discuss the rebranding proposal. The meeting was attended by Kyle, Dylan, Backspace5151, devaldar59, Lazyboi2314, Burgerboi44, and kurmanwoj6_szkola. We believe the meeting was recorded by at least one attending party, however we are unable to retrieve any recording if it ever existed. Despite not knowing the exact contents of the meeting, we do know that many pros and cons of switching to Maple County were discussed, and a list was later compiled that included far more pros than it did cons.
The next day, Dylan sent a poll out to the public, explaining the pros and cons of switching to Maple County. The poll received a total of 22 votes, with 19 votes in favor of switching to Maple County and 3 votes against. The next day, it was announced that the rebranding would be taking place soon.
On February 26, 2024, the rebranding was completed.
